The Status Module is one of the most critical management tools in the LOL Online Learning Platform. It provides administrators with comprehensive system monitoring capabilities. With this module, administrators can monitor the real-time operational status of the entire platform and its resource usage, including video storage capacity, video transcoding progress, user connection status, live course attendance, and real-time FTP upload activities. This greatly aids in preventing potential issues and enhances overall system performance and user experience.

When the platform experiences traffic surges or abnormal usage behavior, the status module serves as an early warning and response mechanism, allowing timely intervention and resource adjustment. Step-by-Step Operation Guide

1. Accessing the Status Module

  1. Log in to the LOL platform using an administrator account.
  2. From the left menu, navigate to Admin Panel > Status.

2. Managing Video Storage Capacity

  • Select the Video Storage Capacity tab.
  • View total capacity, used capacity, and remaining space.
  • If space is insufficient, administrators can either use Online Top-up to expand storage or manually delete unused videos to free up space.

3. Monitoring Transcoding Progress

  • Click the Transcoding Progress tab.
  • The system displays detailed info on all ongoing video transcodes, including file path, file name, resolution, duration, FPS, file type, progress percentage, and elapsed time.
  • Administrators can cancel a specific transcoding task if needed.

  • Go to the User Connection Status tab.
  • Lists all active user sessions, including IP address, username, name, login time, browser, OS, and current video playback.
  • Administrators can Force Logout users if abnormal usage is detected (e.g., account sharing or prolonged idle sessions).

  • Open the Live Usage tab.
  • Displays which users have entered the live classroom, their check-in status, join time, and total watch duration.
  • Supports instructors in conducting attendance and interaction statistics during live classes.

  • Shows the list of files currently being uploaded.
