Product & Billing Feature Guide

Overview

The Product & Billing module is an integrated management tool provided by the LOL Learning Platform for instructors and administrators. It allows you to sell products, manage payment records, and handle order details. You can upload and sell point cards, courses, and textbooks, set availability periods, track payment statuses, and search order records. It's an essential tool for operating online classes or running a tutoring business.

Here, you can:

  • Upload and manage various types of products (e.g., textbooks, point cards, video courses)
  • Search and manage student orders
  • View payment records and statuses
  • Manage product visibility and descriptions

Functional Areas

Product/Plan Management

Admin Area > Product & Billing > Product/Plan

This section allows you to create and manage products. You can set the following:

  • Product Name: A clear title students will recognize
  • Status: Control whether the product is visible (enable/disable)
  • Image: Upload a representative image to catch attention
  • Description: Brief explanation of the product’s use or value
  • Point Value: Required if the product is a point card
  • Price: Set the price in NTD
  • Availability Period: Useful for limited-time promotions

Feel free to design different types of product combinations, such as “Video + Points” or “Textbook + Course,” to enable flexible selling.


Order & Billing Records

Admin Area > Product & Billing > Orders/Billing

You can view and manage student orders and payment status:

  • Order Number (auto-generated)
  • Order Details (product name and quantity)
  • Student Info (account and name)
  • Price & Payment Method (credit card / ATM / convenience store, etc.)
  • Order Status (Pending / Paid / Cancelled)
  • Order Creation and Payment Time

The system supports conditional filtering by account, name, date range, or payment method.


How-To Guide

Add a New Product/Plan

  1. Go to the Product/Plan management page.
  2. Click the "Add Product" button.
  3. Enter the basic information (name, description, image, price, point value, availability period).
  4. Click "Save" to publish the product to the front-end for students to purchase.

Search Order Records

  1. Go to the Orders/Billing section.
  2. Use filters such as account, name, payment status, or payment method.
  3. Click on the order number to view detailed information including payment time, status, and remarks.

Use Case Examples

📚 Selling Physical Textbooks

Tutoring centers can upload products such as “Chinese Workbook” or “Math Practice Sheets” so students can purchase them on the platform.

💳 Selling Point Cards

Create various denominations such as 30, 60, or 100 points. Students can purchase them and use points to unlock videos or features.

🎯 Promotional Course Packages

Combine video courses, textbooks, and point cards into a promotional package (e.g., “Midterm Booster Bundle”) with limited-time availability.

🎬 Pay-to-View Video Courses

Set specific videos as paid content. Once purchased, the system will automatically grant viewing access to the student.


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Can I adjust the product price after it's published?

Yes, but only if no one has purchased the product yet. We recommend confirming all settings before enabling it.

Q2: Can I republish a product after it's taken down?

Absolutely. Just change the status back to “Enabled” and set a new availability period.

Q3: Does the platform support third-party payment integration?

Yes. The platform supports credit cards, ATM transfers, and convenience store codes. Go to "System Management > Online Payment Settings" for configuration.

Q4: How can I check all orders from a specific student?

Go to the Order Management section and enter the student’s account or name to quickly retrieve their entire order history.
