Class Management User Guide

Feature Overview: What is "Class Management"?

Class Management is one of the core administrative features of the LOL Online Learning Platform. With this module, administrators can create various types of course classes, set open and close dates for classes, and integrate with other modules such as instructors, videos, assignments, points, registration, and billing to build a complete online learning flow.

This module supports many class types, including regular classes, summer/winter courses, make-up classes, corporate training, livestream classes, and trial access classes. Each class can be configured with specific courses, instructors, video resources, visibility dates, and user access controls.

Access Path:

Admin Panel > Class Management

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Can I create multiple classes?

Yes, the LOL platform supports an unlimited number of classes. You can also copy an existing class to use as a template.

Q2: Can a class be re-published after it's closed?

Yes. Just go to the class settings and update the start and end dates.

Q3: Where do students see their classes?

After logging in, students can access their assigned classes in the "Online Courses" section.

Q4: What happens if a class has no videos linked?

Students will not be able to see or play any videos. Be sure to link videos in the Video Module after class creation.

The platform doesn't limit users per class, but total concurrent views are limited by the "Seat Package". For specific access control, use account whitelisting or the billing module.

Tips and Recommendations

  • Always set start and end dates for your classes to manage course lifecycle and avoid indefinite access.
  • Class naming tip: Use a format like "Grade / Subject / Batch" (e.g., Grade 9 English / Winter Session) for better clarity and organization.
  • Don’t forget to link videos after creating a class—otherwise, students won’t see any content.
  • Avoid deleting active classes that have linked videos or enrolled students to prevent data loss.
  • Billing integration available: When combined with the billing module, class access can be auto-activated after payment.
